Mahmoud El Esseily is an Egyptian singer and actor born in 1982 in Cairo. He‘s been interested in music since his childhood, and started performing while studying media at the American University in Cairo. That’s when Esseily started a music band. In 2002, after singing with Elisa’s band, the young artist was discovered by producer Ayman Abbas who offered him his first album called “Where are you going” or “Rayeh Ala Fein”, which then released in 2004. From this album, his song “Crazy” or “Magnoona” was a big hit. The song’s lyrics were written by Esseily himself. The hits were followed by many more successful albums and a few movies. In fact, he stared in 2007 in the movie “Nema Bay” with actress Ghada Adel and singer Ahmed Fahmy. His most recent song is Tamseleya, released earlier this month.
